A Long Way Gone Ch:17-18

These chapters were better, so much better then the last ones. I like the nurse Esther. She help Ishmael so much. I felt so happy. Then she said that she would let him listen to music. Once again rap music has saved him from his evil memories. They reminded him of the good times. Esther was the nicest person to him. She listen to everything he wanted to tell her like a therapist. She would only let him listen to the music when he was there. I thought it would be better if she let him use it anytime, but I can see a few reasons by she would want him to go to see her. Then later into the chapters, Ishmael beah learned that his uncle was near were he is. When I heard that I was so delighted. When he saw his uncle. It was quite a weird moment. They have never seen each other before. The uncle was a man that was a loving and caring person. Beah was very welcomed. Ishmael learned he has many cousins. They were cousins that were refuges, but they were just as kind as the uncle. Taking care of the refuges shows that the uncle is a super nice person. That made me feel very happy for Beah. So it looks like Beah's life maybe getting better.
