A Long Way Gone Ch:19-20

I thought these chapters were very good for Ishmael. He has had very good things happen to him in these chapter. He was able to live with is uncle. He was able to live with people who were nice and kind to him, but he was worried about if they were to find out that he was in the army and killing all those people. Then he was able to go to the city. It was also good that he was able to meet a friend, Allie. He was a big help. Ishmael was able to get to know the city. Leaving Sierra Leone. Just going to America made me feel good. That finally Beah was able to get away from the war. He is finally save. The interview was just in time. It couldn't have been in any other time. It must have been terrifying for him when he was in New York. Never been there and it is a huge place. One sad thing about this chapter is that he had to say goodbye to Mohammed. It must have been horrible for him to back to war. That was depressing. Now he is going back. Lets hope the war doesn't reach him.
