A Long Way Gone Ch:8-9

It is still depressing that know one can communicate with each other. Even though Ishmael doesn't know those other boys as well. He still stays behind them and barely talks to them. Some of the boys are trying to keep there minds out of the war. Like the leader Kanei. Which is very good for the boys. Everyday Ishmael has memories of the past, which can be either good or bad, but to my thought it may be bad.
I think there is still hope in the society. The people like the fishermen, the old man, and the young man. They won't tell them their name for protection which isn't bad, but that kind of means that they think that the boys will get caught. I feel glad that Ishmael Beah is still keeping the book so far less graphic, but soon I feel that it will get worst.
I also can't believe that rap music has also saved Ishmael once again.
